Excellent coffee, service, food. Wide variety of seating choices; tables, couches, outdoor seating. However, the music is EXTREMELY loud. Don't recommend for reading, working, studying, or if you are noise sensitive. 4 star only for the loud music.

Friendly, chill, unpretentious and great. Messy, diy, mismatched furniture, loud, chatty and dog friendly, just what you want if you want to feel like a human being and not a Scandinavian consumption unit.

Love this little spot! They have a lot of character and every worker I've experienced has been personable, helpful, and friendly. They have a great selection of coffee and treats. I stop in whenever I'm passing!

This is my go to coffee shop. Number one they have really good coffee and they have the best service by far with the most friendly people. The environment is Just Way, Santa Cruz. Lots of good surf memorabilia. And they play awesome music. Lots of places to sit around at tables couches inside outside. Recommend this place and what's very very important is it is locally owned and operated so your money stays in Santa Cruz that's very very important Support local only.

Awesome coffee! They don't do drip. It's all expresso and delicious. Curtis, the owner, treats employees great and they stick around which is a wonderful bonus on top of the great coffee. I work out of town a lot and only get in 3-4 times a year and the girls always remember me. I have been going into Peoples Coffee as long as they've been open and it's always a treat. We'll see how long we can keep the streak going! Thanks for being there everyone.

Great service! The lady working there at the lady was so friendly and nice. We ended up ordering a banana mocha and it was huge! Perfect for two people. There were a lot of comfy sofas and chairs inside and we were able to relax and chill.
